The nip® team

I've been with nip since 1986, when we had 40 employees, and now we have around 200. I really enjoy my work, because I have new challenges every day and help to make the company a success. My sons grew up with our products and now my grandchildren use them.

For a good 10 years, I have been passionately contributing my knowledge and ideas to the fields of automation/electrical engineering and energy management. In essence, for me it's about designing infrastructure, plants and processes innovatively and efficiently - in other words, making things better tomorrow than they are today. The fact that these improvements benefit not only our company but also the environment gives me new strength every day.

I'm a master craftsman in metalworking and head of training in mechanical engineering. I like the fact that six of the seven trainees I trained are still working for us today, three of them are now technicians.

I've been with nip since 1999; my grandmother worked here in 1954, as did my mom. Let's see if my three children will carry on the "family tradition" later J

Even though the company is now a lot bigger, it's still a family business, which I personally like very much.

I'm Carina and I work in product management and marketing. I love my job here because I have such varied and diverse tasks - from working with customers abroad to choosing new colors for products, it's all here. No day is like the other.

I already started my training at nip and had the opportunity to get a taste of many departments. In the end, I ended up in sales, which I really enjoy because I'm in regular contact with our customers.

In concrete terms, one of the things I do every day is make sure that the shelves in the specialist stores are filled with our great nip products!

I have been with nip since 2019 and head up quality assurance. With great commitment, our entire quality team of the nip family contributes to ensuring the safety and high quality of our great products. Every day we face this challenge with a lot of passion, as the well-being of children is our top priority.

I have been with the company since 2011 and trained as a tool mechanic in the workshop, specializing in mold making. I decided to train here after a two-week student internship in 2008. Among other things, because of the working atmosphere and the versatility of the work. I then did my industrial master's degree in plastics and rubber on the side and expanded my knowledge, and since 2019 I have been in charge of the mold construction department at our company. I am here because it is more than work for me. I really appreciate the environment and the people here. Most of us are now friends with each other, so I already go to work in the morning with a completely different feeling.

I've been at nip since 1995, and I particularly like the fact that it's so familiar here. I work in packaging, everyone knows each other, no one is an "anonymous number". If there are any problems or difficulties, the supervisors always have an open ear and together we always find a solution, just like in a real family. I'm very pleased with how the company has developed over the last 27 years, and even shortly before my retirement I still enjoy it just as much as I did at the beginning.
