Do nip® products contain melamine?

No melamine is used in the manufacture of sustainable nip® products.

How should nip® products be disposed of?

nip® products can be disposed of in the general waste bin; paper packaging should go in the paper recycling bin, and plastic should be placed in the yellow bag. Please check with your local recycling programs for the best disposal options.

Can food be heated in the microwave in nip® cups and bowls?

Our nip® products are melamine-free. Food can be safely heated in the microwave in these cups and bowls.

Do nip® products have a coating from which components can leach?

The nip® products do not have any coatings. Therefore, no components can leach out.

Are nip® products prone to breaking?

nip® products are very sturdy and—when used properly—withstand normal wear and tear very well.

Can I boil feeding products (spoons, cups, bowls, and plates)?

We do not recommend boiling the products, as this is not necessary for feeding products and boiling puts unnecessary strain on the material. We recommend rinsing them under warm running water or washing them in the dishwasher.
